A child is hospitalized after being attacked by a dog in Verona.
It happened at Riverbank Park on Arch Street Monday night.
According to police, the dog got loose from a nearby home and attacked the child, along with a small dog, who did not survive.
No word on the child's condition.
Criminal charges have been filed against the dog’s owner after Verona Police consulted the Pennsylvania’s Dog Warden.
