A non-disclosure agreement keeps him from saying much about the buyer, except the piers sold for more than $300,000 and the new owners paid in cash.
There's no indication what the new owners will do with the piers.
There were rumors the area could be used for advertising and Primanti Bros. released a statement saying they were considering using the location for a riverside restaurant.
