The first trailer for a new Tom Hanks movie, filmed in Pittsburgh is out.

Hanks plays Otto, a widower who doesn’t get along with anybody.
The trailer for the film says, “he doesn’t hate the world, just the people ruining it.”
His character goes as far as sniffing dog pee on his lawn and claims either the dog or his owner is responsible.
That’s a far cry from the kindness of Mr. Rogers, but when a family with young children move in and a cat pesters him, he begins to have a change of heart.
A large portion of the movie was filmed in the Bellevue area and is featured prominently in the trailer.
The move will be released in select theaters on Christmas Day and then will be everywhere on January 13.
Hanks’ impact on Pittsburgh was felt during his visit, just like it was when he was filming the Rogers’ project.
He officiated a wedding in Belleview, he also took a photo with another bridal party and was spotted at the Busy Beaver in Lawrenceville with his wife Rita Wilson and other members of the movie crew.
Both Hanks and Wilson are producers for the film.
“A Man Called Otto” is based on a 2012 novel entitled “Man Called Ove.”
