There's another candidate in the crowded race for Allegheny County Executive.

John Weinstein has announced his bid to replace Rich Fitzgerald after serving as the county's treasurer for 25 years.
“This is an opportunity for us to bring people together, I’m tired of the divisiveness in Washington D.C., in Harrisburg, in government in general,” Weinstein told The Big K Morning Show Friday.
Many of his efforts have centered on going Green - including e-pay systems. He say bipartisanship would be among his priorities in the position.
“I don’t care if someone’s a Republican or Democrat, independent, if they ask for help, I’m gonna respond to them and I’m going to help them and that’s how I’ve always been,” said Weinstein.
Other candidates include County Council member Liv Bennett, former council member Dave Fawcett, state Representative Sara Innamorato, City Controller Michael Lamb, Human Services Project Manager Erin McClelland, and app developer Will Parker.
So far, only Democrats have entered the race.
