Treasure hunters Dennis and Kem Parada claim they led the FBI to hundreds of millions of dollars worth of gold in Dents Run, Pennsylvania.
"I had reported two-and-a-half tons of gold," Dennis said during the KDKA Radio Morning Show.
The FBI hired a company to double check Dennis' readings.
"When they did their scan, they came back with a reading of 7-10 tons of gold," Dennis said. "Things changed at that point. Everything that was worked between us and the FBI and agreed upon, changed."
He said the hole was dug up within 4-5 days after the FBI's reading. In that period, neighbors saw a lot of activity taking place, including seeing jackhammers, hearing loud noises and seeing SUV's being loaded "with stuff."
The FBI later came out to say nothing was found.
