
A North Side woman faces charges after a suspected crack pipe and other possible drugs were found in her bra.
The Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office says 48-year-old Leslie Edwards was scheduled for a court appearance on Tuesday when the deputy assigned to the room she was in found out she had an active criminal court bench and arrest warrant out of Ross Township.
Edwards was arrested when she walked into the courtroom.
She was taken to the “criminal court bullpen” and after a search by two female deputies, two items fell out of her bra, the suspected pipe, which had burns marks and a while residue on it and a suspected cocaine and/or fentanyl.
She faces possession charges and was arraigned for the Ross Township charges.
