
PLANO (1080 KRLD) - A video of a Plano woman threatening an Indian family during a racist tirade is going viral on social media.
According to a Facebook post by one of the victims, Esmerelda (Esmi) Upton approached the family outside of Sixty Vines in Plano and began verbally assaulting them with racial slurs.
It is unclear how the parking lot encounter began, but one of the women says that Upton, who works as a realtor for California Federal Bank, now owned by Citigroup, approached them.
She can be seen also physically attacking the group of women, as well as threatening to kill them with a gun.

Plano Police Detectives arrested Esmerelda Upton at 3:50 P.M. on Thursday on one charge of Assault Bodily Injury and once charge of Terroristic Threats, according a press release from Plano Police Department.
She is currently being held on a $10,000 bond, and the incident is under investigation by the Plano PD's Crime Against Persons Unit as a hate crime. Additional charges my be forthcoming.
