6-month-old girl left in Times Square, father sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 6-month-old girl was left in the heart of Times Square on Tuesday night, police said as they searched for the baby’s father, who they believe fled the scene.

Police got a 911 call around 11 p.m. about the girl, who was found at West 44th Street and Seventh Avenue.

The girl was conscious and alert, and lying inside of a stroller, when she was found.She was transported to Northwell Greenwich Village Hospital.

Police said the child was unharmed, but they believe her father fled. They were searching for him Wednesday.
