(WWJ) – Detroit rapper Eminem has never been shy of speaking his mind. He’s been outspoken both in his music and in-person for decades.

That much was evident in a recent interview posted to social media in which the 50-year-old rapper blasted former President Donald Trump and his followers.

In the interview, posted by TikTok user rising_path, Eminem said he often gets “flustered” when he speaks about Trump.

“There’s too many things I want to say at once, so sometimes I start talking and I’m not able to convey the message the right way because I just get flustered and frustrated,” he said, noting he doesn’t understand why his supporters buy in.

“Watching him play to his base that thinks that he cares about them and it’s actually the people that he cares about the f***ing least,” he said.

“If you’re talking about his core being a majority white middle class, what I don’t understand is how in the f*** do you feel like you relate to a billionaire who has never known struggle his entire f***ing life?”

The video garnered social media attention this week, a week after Trump was indicted on federal charges of conspiring to defraud the United States, conspiring to disenfranchise voters, and conspiring and attempting to obstruct an official proceeding in connection with the 2020 election.

“I will say this – he talks a good one,” Eminem says in the video.

“Let’s say you’re going to the rallies or whatever, you watch him on TV, you hear him talking his s**t, there’s part of me that understands, like ‘alright, he’s somehow still got them because he’s brainwashing them into thinking that something great is going to happen,” he said.

“Nothing’s happening. Nothing is happening,” he said.

This isn't the first time Eminem has taken shots at Trump. Back in 2017 he unloaded his thoughts in a video shown during the BET Awards.
