What if we had a "Rock" for president?

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is reacting after a poll showed 46% of people would be down with him running for president. In an instagram post, Johnson showed a screen grab of a Newsweek article titled, "46% Want Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson as President."

The number was based on a poll.

"Humbling," the former pro-wrestler wrote. "I don't think our Founding Fathers EVER envisioned a six-four, bald, tattooed, half-Black, half-Samoan, tequila drinking, pick up truck driving, fanny pack wearing guy joining their club - but if it ever happens it'd be my honor to serve you, the people."

This isn't the first time Johnson has addressed a potential presidential run as the new comedy series "Young Rock" addresses a 2032 run for the Oval Office.

In February, Johnson spoke with USA Today about the rumored run. "I would consider a presidential run in the future if that's what the people wanted," he began.

"Truly I mean that, and I'm not flippant in any way with my answer. That would be up to the people. ...So I would wait, and I would listen. I would have my finger on the pulse, my ear to the ground," he continued.

Additionally, in a 2017 interview with GQ, Johnson said he'd "like to see a better leadership" before endorsing President Joe Biden for the 2020 election that he ultimately won.

"The responsibility as president - I [would] take responsibility for everyone. Especially when you disagree with me," he said of his own values if he were to become the president.
