PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) After a drizzle of frozen rain overnight, Pittsburgh Public Safety is urging all motorists to avoid driving unless it is an emergency.
The freezing rain left roads across the city extremely icy and unsafe to drive on.
Pittsburgh police, fire, and EMS are all responding to multiple incidents around the city caused by the icy conditions.
Roads are also being closed to traffic.
Pittsburgh Public Safety made it an urgent message on their Twitter page this morning.
