Uncertainty surrounding the upcoming holiday season has retailers and shoppers planning ahead.
The leftover Halloween candy is barely gone, but already shoppers and retailers alike are jumping right into the holiday season.
Duquesne university marketing professor Dr. Audrey Guskey says some of the best deals are already available and people are taking advantage.
"Shoppers aren't necessarily guaranteed to get the 'must-have' products and so everyone is saying get out there now, if you see it, buy it."
She says a log jam along the supply chain, staffing shortages and shipping delays are at the forefront - setting up for an ultra-busy and competitive holiday shopping season.
