A new poll of Pennsylvanians looks at what they think of the country's 250th birthday.
The nation turns 250 years old on Saturday.
A new poll by the Penn Live and the Bravo Group finds Pennsylvanians are about evenly split on their excitement about the big number.
25 percent say they're extremely excited, 21 percent very, 27 percent said somewhat excited and 22 percent said, not all excited.
Four percent say they were unaware of the celebration.
On the state's budget impasse, 27 percent said they'd like to see spending cuts, while 25 percent want spending cuts and new fees or taxes.
13 percent want taxes and fees to go up, and 17 percent want to dip into the Rainy-Day Fund.
President Trump's approval rating went up from 34 percent in May to 41 percent in June.
39 percent approve of Dave McCormick's job as Senator up eight points, and 45 percent approve of John Fetterman's performance, a five-point gain.
For the gubernatorial race, 54 percent say they would vote for Josh Shapiro, while Stacy Garrity is at 29 percent.
How motivated are Pennsylvanians to vote in the midterm elections?
51 percent say extremely motivated.
