PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — “Jackass” star Bam Margera turned himself in Thursday morning to Pennsylvania authorities to face assault charges.

Pennsylvania State Police issued an arrest warrant earlier this week for the West Chester native. He is accused of assaulting his brother on Sunday at their Chester County home. Officials said he then fled into the woods nearby.

Margera arrived at a Chester County district court Thursday morning to face charges of simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment.

He was released on bond after bail was set at $50,000.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 25.
