The Pennsylvania House passed Tuesday a bill to ban drivers from using handheld cell phones.

The vote was 124-77. The Senate has already passed the bill but since it was changed in the House, it goes back to the Senate for final approval.

The Post-Gazette reports one of the changes would require police to collect demographic data during traffic stops.
