HARRISBURG (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) — The Pennsylvania State Police have wrapped up their investigation into the racist remarks that were made toward Gisele Fetterman.
Racist comments were made toward Gisele, wife of Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman, on Sunday, October 11, and the video went viral on social media garnering the spotlight for the incident.
After the completion of the aforementioned investigation, the findings were reported to the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office.
It was found that the comments do meet the requirements for the "culpability threshold necessary to support charging of several violations of the Pennsylvania Crimes Code."
However, the Fettermans have already established that they do not want to seek prosecution.
Instead, they prefer to allow the opportunity for "appropriate social services and other resources."
