The numbers are in from Pennsylvania's Liquor Control Board.

Sales at state stores topped $3 billion for the first time in the 2022-23 fiscal year.

Sales were up 4.5 percent but net income dropped 21 percent due mostly to increases in pension and workers' comp obligations.

Just over $813 million went to the state's General Fund for schools, health and human services, law enforcement and public safety.
