Don't throw out your non-winning lottery tickets. They could be worth cash.
The Pennsylvania Lottery has kicked off its holiday second-chance drawing for non-winning, holiday-themed scratch-off tickets.
Starting Tuesday, non-winning tickets from the games Merry Money, Tree-Mendous Winnings, Holiday Gifts, Santa's Workshop, Cash Kringle, and Oh, Snap can be entered into a naughty or nice drawing for a top prize of $100,000.
On November 3, the $100,000 wish list second-chance drawing will open for non-winning holiday-themed Fast Play tickets including Peng-Win Plunge, Fa-la-la-la-Llama and Ho Ho Whoa.
Then, on November 10 non-winning draw game tickets like PICK 2, PICK 3, PICK 4, PICK 5, Cash 5, Keno, Treasure Hunt, Match 6 Lotto, Cash4Life®, Powerball® and Mega Millions® can be entered.
Total prize money to be awarded in the second chance games is $1.3 million.
