Should motorcycle groups have the same rights on the road as a funeral procession?
A state lawmaker has introduced a bill that would give them that ability.
Republican State Representative Jacob Banta says his bill would give organized motorcycle groups of at least ten bikers the ability to hold a procession between 8 a.m. and sunset, so long as they have either a corporate or nonprofit sponsorship.
At least ten percent of the participants would be required to wear a reflective vest.
Banta's bill was referred to the House Transportation Committee.
