A Pennsylvania State Trooper has been charged with DUI after police say he was drunk on the job.
Austin Burney was assigned to Troop C in Lewis Run.
State police say he was driving drunk during his shift on November 27.
According to a report, he was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, roadways laned for traffic and driving on the right side of the roadway.
Burney enlisted in the State Police in February of 2021, graduating in August that year.
He's been assigned to Troop C, Lewis Run since graduating.
He has been suspended without pay.
