A Number of buildings within the Pennsylvania State Capitol Complex will close next week out of what the State Office of Administration calls "an abundance of Caution."
In an announcement on their website, the Office of Administration lists 29 buildings, including the State Capitol Building, Judicial Center, and various state office buildings that are authorized a full-day office closing on both Tuesday, January 19th and Wednesday, January 20th.
Officials say Capitol Police in Harrisburg have enhanced their visible presence and are working with other law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety of State employees.
They add they are not aware of any specific threats at this time.
Earlier this week, there were reports that the FBI is expecting armed pretests to take place at all state Capitols.
