Pennsylvania is losing one Congressional house seat and one electoral vote. That's based on data just released from the 2020 U.S. Census.
West Virginia, Michigan, New York, Ohio, and California also lost one seat due to population declines.
But several Republican-controlled Southern and Western states are gaining congressional seats.
Fast-growing Texas got enough people to merit two new House seats. Florida and North Carolina picked up one each.
The much-awaited numbers from the census were delayed several times due to the pandemic.
