Congressman Mike Doyle is touting the recently passed infrastructure bill, saying Pennsylvania is set to receive billions in federal funding.
Doyle says the state can use the money on over 3,500 bridges and 7,500 miles of roadway.
He also says the state is expected to receive around one-point-six billion dollars for projects, including capping abandoned oil and gas wells and lead pipe repairs:
"We're an older city and a lot of the construction back then used lead pipes and we know that, that's not safe and we want to replace these pipes, there's going to be money in the bill to help us do that," Doyle told the KDKA Radio Morning Show Tuesday.
