Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day is Monday, December 7.
To honor the day in Pennsylvania, Governor Tom Wolf has order all U.S. and state flags to fly at half-staff.
“It is with heavy hearts that we remember the tragic events that occurred at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, but we are also reminded of and inspired by the resilience, bravery and the indomitable fighting spirit of the Americans who gave their lives on that day,” Governor Wolf said.
The administration said the U.S. flag should be at half-staff until sunset on Monday.
Pennsylvania flags have been at half-staff since early March to honor victims of the coronavirus pandemic.
