During an interview with News Radio KDKA's Kevin Battle, Governor Wolf said his mail-in ballot for Tuesday's election was dropped off not by him, but by his wife Frances, despite a state law requirement says that voters must deliver their own ballots in person.

“My wife actually dropped it off personally two weeks ago,” said Wolf. “It’s there.”

Wolf spokeswoman Beth Rementer called it an honest mistake.

State law requires voters who do not mail their absentee or mail in ballot to deliver it in person to their county board of election, although with preapproval, others can do it under certain circumstances.
