
A pair of Los Angeles residents are facing severe drug charges after being found in Mercer County with over 60 pounds of cocaine and fentanyl in their car.
The drugs were found in hidden compartments of the vehicle after it was pulled over for traffic violations on Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township on Wednesday.
In total, police found 63.8 pounds of drugs in the vehicle.
The two Los Angeles natives, Alvaro Elenes, 44, and Gabriel Garcia, 26, are being held in Mercer County Jail on $500,000 bail each.
They are being charged with felony drug charges and are both scheduled for preliminary hearings on June 16.
