PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) Earlier this week, the FDA and CDC authorized the use of the Pfizer vaccine for adolescents aged 12-15.
More recently, Walmart announced that they and Sam’s Club pharmacists will be administering vaccines to eligible individuals, including the newly eligible age group.
Walmart and Sam’s Club will be administering the Pfizer vaccine where available and offered.
Patients are able to refer to the Walmart and Sam’s Club schedulers to find which pharmacies are offering the vaccine.
According to research, the Pfizer vaccine is 95% effective for all ages, and even better for those aged 12-15.
