The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the Pittsburgh region.
The watch is in effect through 8:00pm Wednesday evening and includes Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Fayette, Forest, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, Mercer, Washington, Westmoreland and Venango counties.
The watch is also in effect for portions of Ohio and West Virginia.
