With PNC Park returning to full capacity Thursday night (July 1), many Pirates fans are wondering if the weather is going to cooperate as the Buccos take on the Brewers.
AccuWeather Meteorologist Dean DeVore told the KDKA Radio Morning Show that the last of the hefty rain showers and thunderstorms will come through between 5pm and 7pm tonight so we should be able to get the game in, but don't be surprised if there is a delay at the start.
"The dryer air should be winning more as we go through the evening hours," he said. "Maybe a pop-up shower, but as we go through the night, I think we'll be okay."
DeVore said the showers will return on Friday and possibly Saturday, but Sunday "looks pretty dry, temperatures staying more comfortable than they've been over the last several days with all of this heat and humidity."

Capacity had been limited due to Coronavirus mitigation efforts in Pennsylvania. Those restrictions were lifted at the end of May. The Pirates phased in their return to full capacity in stages.
