PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Last week Vance McDonald was sick and missed practice, only to play in the game and test positive for COVID-19 on Monday. Thursday, Steelers tailback Anthony McFarland was unable to practice to due to an undisclosed illness.
Whether it is related to McDonald or not is unclear, but McFarland was not put on the list of having contact with McDonald earlier this week. A list that includes Ben Roethlisberger and Vince Williams, who aren't allowed around the team until Saturday, if they pass a couple of coronavirus tests.
Nickel back Mike Hilton took a step back, going from a full practice to limited on Thursday. Also limited were DL Tyson Alualu, for a second straight day, and DL Isaiah Buggs, who was unable to practice on Wednesday.
Fullback Derek Watt has practiced full all week after being a late scratch Sunday in Dallas. All of the veterans who were off on Wednesday were back to full workouts.
