Former Steelers star running back Le’Veon Bell unveiled a lot during the newest episode of the Steel Here podcast with Jersey Jerry and Kevin Adams.

He confirmed that he used to smoke week before games while with the Steelers, talked about how much of a night and day different Mike Tomlin is compared to the Jets head coach Adam Gase while he was in New York and two other juicy topics.

Speaking about his contract dispute, Bell said that the contract that was rumored on social media was not the real number he was offered by the Steelers, it was lower.

He also said the main point of disagreement with the Steelers was the guaranteed money.

Bell also cleared up some rumors, saying he never told his teammates that he was coming back in 2018 and that center Maurkice Pouncey was so confident he would get him to come back he said he would be there for Week 1, because the lineman was able to convince him play under the franchise tag in 2017.

Maybe the biggest thing though, is that Bell said looking back, he should’ve signed with Pittsburgh.

“It was like a little petty, the guarantee stuff . . . I’m thinking could I have just ate it? Yeah, I probably could’ve, yeah, I probably could’ve really ate it,” said Bell.

At the time though, Bell thought he was showing the team the kind of player he was, dealing with injury and deserved what he calls respect.

Watch the whole video below to hear him talk about how he still has it and believes he can be better than ever if he came back to the NFL and how he’d like to show the Steelers what he can do in a preseason game.
