Calvin Austin appears set for return against Packers Sunday night

The arrow is pointing up for the Steelers, at least on the injury front.

During is weekly news conference with the media on Tuesday afternoon, Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin had one of the cleanest injury reports in recent memory.

Wide receiver Calvin Austin is scheduled to return to practice this week.

Austin told reporters that he would “hopefully” return against the Packers on Sunday Night Football this weekend.

Austin missed the past two games after he suffered an ankle injury during the game against the Vikings in Ireland.

Austin has 10 catches over four games for the Steelers this season for 139 yards and two touchdowns.

Tomlin said some other players are dealing with “bumps and bruises” but indicated the long weekend was helpful to recovery and didn’t mention any other players by name.
