PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – With still having need a receiver, a former fourth-round draft pick leaves the Steelers for near league minimum. Calvin Austin is signing a one-year deal with the Giants.
According to SNYtv Giants reporter Connor Hughes, Austin will make $1.5 million in salary and with incentives can make up to $4.5 million.
After missing his first season due to injury, Austin finished with 84 receptions in three seasons for 1,100 yards, 13.1 average, with eight touchdowns. Last year Austin had 31 catches for 372 yards and three scores, including the game-winner against the Patriots.
