PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Once again Cam Heyward was a full participant in practice and Wednesday afternoon the team activated him from injured reserve following a closed workout on the South Side.
The team didn't announce he would play, but connecting the dots including what he posted on social media, expect Heyward in the lineup Thursday against Tennessee.
Minkah Fitzpatrick is the only player ruled out, Mike Tomlin announced that on Monday. Corner Levi Wallace was limited again on Wednesday with a foot injury and is questionable. He missed the game Sunday against Jacksonville.
Kenny Pickett no longer has an injury designation after practicing full Wednesday. Pickett said Tuesday he would be ready to go. So he is cleared to play as is safety Damontae Kazee (hand), which is big as he will fill the position played by Fitzpatrick.
Running back/kick returner Anthony McFarland continues to practice full, yet hasn't been activated off injured reserve. The team has until Monday to do so or lose him for the season.
