"Chase Claypools is as mentally and emotionally underdeveloped as he is physically overdeveloped."

Former Steelers safety Ryan Clark didn't mince words on ESPN's "Get Up" Friday morning talking about Chase Claypool's first down celebration that cost the Steelers several seconds and the chance to tie the game on Thursday night against the Vikings.

After showing the clip of Claypool explaining what happened after the game, Clark closed his eyes, put his hands on his face and took a deep breath before talking.

"This is a dude that has all of the things you need from a physical standpoint to be a super star wide receiver," said Clark. "He has remedial level mental understanding of what it is to be a football player, of what it is to be a good teammate, of what it is to be a winner."

Clark points out that Claypool said he did "my thing" not "our thing" after the first down.

"It's about when you watch a guy like Larry Fitzgerald, who's one of the greatest wide receivers of all-time sprint faster to give the ball to the referee and put it on hash than he did to catch the football," added Clark.

Clark says Claypool shouldn't be blaming Trai Turner for knocking the ball out of his hands, he should be blaming himself for why he didn't get the ball to the ref faster.

"You weren't looking for the referee; you weren't looking for the hash," said Clark. "He only cares about himself and that self-centeredness is part of what's bringing the Pittsburgh Steelers team and organization down."

Clark wasn't the only former Steeler to rip Claypool. Brett Keisel also took a shot at the second-year wide out.
