PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – It had been a ‘to be announced’ game, the Steelers schedule was finalized Tuesday afternoon with the date and time of the final preseason matchup scheduled.
The last exhibition game will be 1p on Saturday, August 24 at Detroit. It is the only road game of the preseason as the Steelers will open at home with the Houston Texans at 7p on Friday, August 8 at 7p and then Buffalo at Acrisure Stadium on Saturday, August 17 at 7p.
The season opener is Sunday, September 8 at 1p at Atlanta as part of the toughest schedule in the NFL playing three games in 10 days from December 15 at Philly, then at Baltimore on December 21 and home to the Super Bowl champion Chiefs on Christmas.
