An arrest was made on Friday in Las Vegas in connection to the shooting death of hip-hop icon Tupac Shakur and Steeler running back Najee Harris may have known all along who it was.
Duane “Keffe D” Davis was arrested and faces charges.
While Harris eventually went to Alabama, he visited other schools like UCLA.
That is where Yahoo Sports’ Rob Cassidy says former coach Jim Mora told him he knew who killed Tupac during Harris’ official visit.
Mora now coaches at UConn and Harris has never talked about it in public.
Davis publicly admitted in 2018 that he was present during the September 1996 shooting that killed Shakur. His nephew, Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson, had brawled with Shakur at a casino earlier in the evening, and was seen as a suspect in the killing before his own death two years later.
