“He’s the worst (sports) owner in the city.”
Donny Football didn’t hold back his criticism of Art Rooney II after he as voted the second worst NFL owner in the league after a poll conducted by the NFL Players Association was released Wednesday.
Donny opened up the PM Team throwing haymakers against his beloved Steelers.
“The only thing going for Rooney in this case is that his dad set tremendous groundwork in his place and he has nobody more than Mike Tomlin and Ben Roethlisberger to also thank for how they carried it through up until pretty much now,” said Donny.
Donny also says that being in league with a salary cap helps him as well.
“To be honest with you and the way he has inherited it, he’s the worst owner in the city.”

Donny also called Rooney cheap, but because the Steelers have a better resume and have won more recently, he gets away with it, compared to Pirates owner Bob Nutting, who frequently faces criticism.
“He never gets run through the mud, the way Bob Nutting does and again, I’m not saying it not warranted, the criticism that Bob Nutting gets but we know what the perception is,” said Donny.
