PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Injury is going to keep Defending NFL Defensive Player of the Year TJ Watt out of the Pro Bowl activities this year.
What we've learned is it's not a new injury, but rather just to get some rest from the partially torn pectoral muscle that kept him out seven games in 2022 and the subsequent knee injury suffered while working his way back.
The thought is to not subject him to potential further issues, but let him fully heal to be ready for the 2023 season. Bills Matthew Milano will take his spot.
In the 10 games last year, Watt finished with 39 tackles, 5.5 sacks, two interceptions, five passes defended and a forced fumble.
