Who You Want-Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida
Why-He is the total package-long, athletic, can cover and run like the wind. And he has tons of swag to his game and would walk in and start at a position of need immediately. I'm afraid the Steelers are afraid of themselves however as they have been terrible drafting CBs and won't go that route again.

Who You Want-Jordan Davis, DL, Georgia
Why- He would instantly improve the worst run defense in the NFL. He'd provide a needed injection of youth on the defensive line, and his blocker-occupying presence would make like much easier on Devin Bush and the rest of the linebackers, not to mention the secondary. Minkah Fitzpatrick in particular had to function too much as a fifth linebacker last year, and Davis would go a long way towards fixing that.

Who You Want-Kenny Pickett, QB, Pitt
Why-I want them to pick someone who they absolutely think will be the future. With Colbert leaving, and no GM in place, it's crucial to get this pick right and not set the franchise back with a miss.

Who You Want-Jordan Davis, DL, Georgia
Why- The team needs to stop the run, most of all. I fear the team will reach for a quarterback. Davis could help them more. I would even trade up to get him.

Who You Want-Devonte Wyatt, DT, Georgia
Why-The off-the-field issues might keep Wyatt off the Steelers draft board, but his versatility and youth would be a huge help to an aging defensive line.

Who You Want-Tyler Linderbaum, C, Iowa
Why-Just like we saw how important a good DL is to a football team, we've also seen the importance of a good center the last few years. I would love to see the Steelers pick a high-ranking player dedicated to this position. Adding Tyler Linderbaum can give you a guy dedicated to that position, potentially for years to come.

Why-Steelers get their starting center for the next decade or possibly their get a number one cornerback and select Washington's Trent McDuffie.

Who You Want-Derek Stingley, CB, LSU
Why- Could solidify a position that is shaky and one that will be tested by some of the big arms and dynamic pass catching threats in the AFC North, for years to come. But beyond this, I'd like to see the Steelers find a way, if the passers do slide, to get back into the first round, perhaps at the Lions' 32nd overall pick, and take Kenny Pickett.

Why- In a conference stacked with freaks at the quarterback position I think it would behoove the Steelers to draft the QB with the most freak potential. That's Malik Willis.

Why-I'm all in on Malik Willis and believe that this can be the ticket to Matt Canada's offense with him at quarterback. We saw plenty of teams reach for quarterbacks in free agency which makes me think they aren't as high on this draft class for QBs. I think Willis will be there for them at 20.

Why-Mike Tomlin and the Steelers may be infatuated with Willis, but despite his hand size, Pickett remaining in Pittsburgh not only has great potential, but is also a phenomenal story.
Pickett will have room to grow under Mitch Trubisky for a season or two, then step up and claim the throne as the Steelers next franchise quarterback.

Who You Want-Jordan Davis, DL, Georgia
Why-Quarterback is the most important position, but not one to reach on. Figuring Pickett and Willis are gone, Steelers also have a big need to restock the defensive line. Davis plays snaps immediately and fills a big area of need in helping stop the run. You'll be amazed how much better the linebackers will play.
