Hall of Fame ring ceremony planned for Sunday at Heinz Field

Sunday is a big game for the Steelers. With Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson out for the game, Pittsburgh is favorited to win and bring their record back to .500 after falling 1-3 to start the season.

It will also be an important game for the recent Steelers inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Coach Bill Cowher, safety Troy Polamalu, guard Alan Faneca and safety Donnie Shell will all receive their Hall of Fame rings at halftime on Sunday during a special ceremony.

Hall of Fame CEO & President David Baker will also be on hand for the ceremony.

The rings are 14K gold with diamonds weighing 1.75 carats.

Cowher and Polamalu have both expressed how they can’t wait to be with the fans at Heinz Field and this Sunday, they get their chance.
