PITTSBURGH (93.7 the Fan) The Pro Football Hall of Fame has released their full list of nominees for the 2023 class, nine of which are in on their first year of eligibility.

Among the nine players added to the list in their first year is former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison and Pittsburgh native Darrelle Revis.
Harrison played 177 games with the Steelers from 2002 to 2017 and was voted as the defensive player of the year in 2008.
With the Steelers, Harrison won a pair of Super Bowls and made the Pro Bowl five times.
In his 14 year career Harrison tallied up 583 solo tackles and 811 combined.
Harrison also played with the Cincinnati Bengals and New England Patriots.
Revis, most known as the owner of ‘Revis Island,’ was one of the best corner backs in the game for 11 seasons.
Mostly with the New York Jets, Revis played 145 games in his career picking off 29 passes.
Revis also played with the Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and won a Super Bowl with the Patriots in 2014.
Through a voting process, the Hall of Fame will narrow down their list of 129 to 15 finalists and are expected to announce the name in early January.
