PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – We knew earlier in the afternoon that Aaron Rodgers would be questionable for Sunday against the Bears. There was a new injury to a Steelers captain on Friday.

Defensive lineman Cam Heyward suffered an ankle injury and was limited on Friday. He is questionable or 50-50 for Chicago Sunday. Heyward didn’t practice the first few days of the week due to rest, although that has been common this year.

Linebacker Alex Highsmith is listed as doubtful as well with a pectoral injury. He told me after practice he is optimistic about playing, but said he also has to be smart. Read into that what you will.

Corner Darius Slay practiced full the first two days of work and then was limited on Friday due to ‘rest’ as he covers from his concussion. Slay is listed as questionable.

The good news is tailback Jaylen Warren was full on Friday and taken off the injury report. Also cleared from the injury report is linebacker Cole Holcomb and kick returner/receiver Ke’Shawn Williams after he suffered a concussion in-game against Cincinnati.
