PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – There were a few other injuries besides the starting quarterback. It includes the AFC Defensive Player of the Week from a couple weeks ago.
OLB Alex Highsmith
· He was unable to practice last week and missed the Bengals game. Tomlin said he is still limited with his pectoral injury. They will see what he can do on Wednesday and Thursday and if there is ‘an uptick in his participation’ then there is a potential.
KR/WR K’Shawn Williams
· Is in concussion protocol after a hit in the game Sunday. They will see how he responds
DB Darius Slay
· He suffered a concussion the previous week, but did return for limited practice work on Friday. Slay didn’t play Sunday, but they are optimistic about him and he would get his starting job back if healthy
LB Cole Holcomb
· Optimistic he will return from an illness that has kept him out a month
RB Jaylen Warren
· The ankle injury in the game will limit him at early portions of the week, but they are optimistic about him as well. Warren was cleared to return in the game, but it was a coach’s decision as to why he didn’t return
G Isaac Seumalo
· Starting guard returned from a pec injury against Cincinnati, has had no ill effects from the game
