PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said they would have to see how the week played out for linebacker Cole Holcomb due to an ankle injury. First practice for Jacksonville week, Holcomb was a full participant.

The first-year Steelers linebacker has 17 tackles in the last two games, 11 are solo with a couple of tackles for loss, a quarterback hit and a pass defense. Earlier this year he forced a couple of fumbles.

Running back Anthony McFarland, who is in the second week of a three-week window to return from injured reserve, practiced full. The fourth-year Steeler practiced full all last week, but was not activated.

Corner Levi Wallace, who had a couple of rough plays against the Rams on Sunday, did not practice due to a foot injury. That game in LA was the first time Wallace didn't play at least 90% of the defensive snaps, he played in 72% on defense. It was also the first time this season he didn't have a solo tackle. Wallace has 24 tackles overall in 2023 with a pair of interceptions and seven passes defended.

Guard Isaac Seumalo and corner Patrick Peterson were given veteran days off and outside linebacker Nick Herbig missed because he was sick.
Steelers have two more practices before hosting Jacksonville Sunday.
