The Steelers will be banged up heading into New England as they try to prevent a 1-2 start this Sunday.
Head Coach Mike Tomlin announced that defensive tackle Isaiahh Loudermilk and outside linebacker Alex Highsmith will both be OUT against the Patriots.
Both are dealing with high ankle sprains with Tomlin saying Loudermilk’s is going to keep him out for “weeks” and Highsmith’s isn’t considered as serious.
Three players that were out on Sunday, safety DeShon Elliott (knee), cornerback Joey Porter Jr. (hamstring) and rookie defensive lineman Derrick Harmon (knee), who has yet to make his NFL debut, are all listed as QUESTIONABLE with Elliott "questionable at best."
Inside linebacker Patrick Queen, with an oblique injury and Darius Slay with a shoulder injury, both suffered during Sunday’s game, are expected to be available but could start the practice week off slow.
