PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – The list of Steelers sitting out practice lessoned for the Thursday practice. After eight missed on Wednesday, only five were out on Thursday.
A couple were back to full practice:
WR Diontae Johnson (hip)
RB Najee Harris (rest)
G Kevin Dotson (shoulder)
Corner Tre Norwood (hamstring), missed last week, but was able to go from not practicing to limited on Thursday.
There was a new injury, linebacker, and leading sacker, Alex Highsmith was limited with an ankle injury after going full on Wednesday.
The following did not practice
S Arthur Maulet (illness)
S Minkah Fitzpatrick (ankle)
LB Myles Jack (groin)
DL Larry Ogunjobi (toe)
DL Cam Heyward (rest)
Corner James Pierre has yet to clear concussion protocol, but did practice full for a second straight day.
While not practicing this week, Jack was dressed and out there on Thursday.
“I’m just continually working,” Jack said. “I got some good sprints in today, working my change of direction. Groin is a tricky injury. It’s something you have to wait on. It moves at its own speed. If it was up to me, I would snap and I’d be good. I’m definitely gunning to play this weekend. We will see what happens.”
