PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – According to reports, the Password is coming to Pittsburgh.
Acquired as a potential starting outfielder before the Pirates added Ryan O’Hearn and Jake Mangum in a trade, reports the Pirates will call up outfielder Jhostynxon Garcia from AAA as O’Hearn went on the injured list and out potentially a month.
Garcia, nicknamed The Password, is hitting .368 with six home runs, 10 RBI with an .895 OPS in May after returning from injury.
The last two seasons in the minors, the right-hand hitting outfielder had 41 doubles and 44 home runs and was considered one of the Red Sox top prospects before the trade.
The Post-Gazette’s Noah Hiles reports Garcia is expected to join the team in St. Louis, but nothing official yet.

Garcia was part of a five-player trade this past offseason and is considered a Top 100 prospect in MLB.
