Tony Ruscitto coached the Beth-Center Bulldogs for two years in 1988 and 1989. His last head coaching post was in 2003 at Elizabeth Forward. While a longstanding veteran of the local coaching scene, Tony Ruscitto, at 80-years old is heading up the football program at Beth-Center.
Ruscitto is young, spry, and the recipient of open-heart surgery just a few years ago. He works on a farm, and is active in many business ventures with his work days routinely last 15-16 hours.
A Carrick native and veteran of the coaching industry, this coach's passion for pigskin doesn't seem to be fading anytime soon. Ruscitto joins Dan Zangrilli and Mike White to talk about what makes him tick on this episode of SPOTLIGHT WPIAL.
