PNC Park is getting a face lift.
The Pirates are planning $11 million in alterations to the 22-year-old ballpark, still considered to be one of Major League Baseball's finest facilities.
The upgrades include an expanded clubhouse store and renovations to the concession stands on the main concourse.
The team is also planning to add three new beer outlets, a new food stand and lighting improvements.
Sports & Exhibition Authority board members approved the changes Thursday.
The Pirates are paying for the improvements and hope to have them in place by the start of the baseball season.
